Every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and thrive. But in Haiti, children with disabilities face overwhelming obstacles—many are denied an education, proper nutrition, and medical care simply because of their circumstances. You can change that.

By sponsoring a child through Footprints of the Son, you’re not just providing financial support—you’re giving a child hope, opportunity, and the chance to reach their full potential. Your sponsorship helps ensure that children in our school and outreach programs receive education, daily nutrition, medical care, and a loving, supportive environment.

More than that, sponsorship builds a powerful connection between you and a child in need. Through updates and communication, you’ll see firsthand the impact of your generosity, watching your sponsor child grow and flourish.

How Child Sponsorship Works

$40/month provides a child with:

  • Education at our inclusion school
  • Daily nutritious meals to keep them healthy and strong
  • Medical care when needed
  • Transportation for children unable to walk to school
  • A safe, supportive community where they are valued and loved

Yes, it is quick and easy through our online giving site. You can select CHILD SPONSORSHIP from a drop down menu when selecting where to designate your donation.
Yes, you can give for child sponsorship in any way that is best for you whether that is annually, monthly, weekly, etc.
Yes, it is quick and easy through our online giving site. You can select CHILD SPONSORSHIP from a drop down menu when selecting where to designate your donation.
Most of our children require 2-3 sponsors (at $40/monthly) to support their needs with nutrition, education, and medical needs. You can choose to be your child’s only sponsor if you fulfill the complete amount of sponsorship needed.
After signing up to be a child sponsor, you will receive a match to a child in our program. Each child in the sponsorship program has a “group” page on Facebook which is updated with pictures, prayer requests, needs, and updates. If a sponsor does not have Facebook, we are able to email or text updates throughout the year.
Yes, we are able to organize sponsor communication and small gifts are always appreciated. We ask that you contact us before sending anything to our stateside address to make sure it is appropriate and able to get down to Haiti in a timely manner. Sponsors are responsible for covering shipping ($2 per pound) as well as custom fees for gifts sent.
